Finding ideas for songs from composers
Many speak of any system, but at least one way to write or record no nothing would be final.
For the composer first ideas for writing songs may seem a challenge. Connie Kaldor, who conducts seminars composition in California when he was asked, "Where did you get your ideas?" says: "I think it's best to start working from what you know and that may be what you know about the human condition, you or your country or your dog. I write all the time. I have ideas in all situations, driving, drinking tea, anywhere. Usually we try to have a piece of paper around and it is best that I have my little tape recorder and just sing on the tape. "
This is a good suggestions for any composer. Work with what you know. Even the most mundane of subjects can provide interesting ideas for songs to write. Think about the group's songs, Bare Naked Ladies, such as, "If I had a million dollars." Not all songs have to be love or heartbreak.
The point is, start writing and keep writing. Keep supplies with you at all times. Paper or a notebook and pencil, or even a small tape recorder (The ancient practice of micro-cassette dictation recorders work well.)
What is new in many creative people, including composers is the snapshot immediate critical voice that shoots all the ideas scoreless exploration.
