Do you think the electric violin is an adequate substitute for the electric guitar?
My guitar is not very good yet, but really can range on the violin. I'm starting to replace some electric guitar parts with the electric violin. I've heard of this guy named Antonio Pontarelli is also a rock violinist who has won the International Composition Competition, and the monthly contest SongwriterUniverse only 15! He even played can do things with the violin can not be done with the guitar. I think we need more electric violins, guitars have more. Go with what you have a passion and skill and have fun.
